When I opened up the package I was surprised to see its small size. I've tried two other antennas and this beat them hands down. I picked up additonal channels (21) total. Five more than the other antennas. All come in crystal clear. It was a bit more pricey than the others but I get more channels and better quality pictures. I own a Pinnacle HDTV USB Mini Stick (80e), and when comparing the PowerHD 100 with the original antenna that came with my TV Tuner, the PowerHD was able to pick up most of my channels. When I used the stock antenna with my TV Tuner I could never get a consistent picture. With the PowerHD I was able to get all of my local channels (CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, CW, ... public channels) with overall consistent picture. I previously had a Radio Shack XR-190 antenna when a severe windstorm blew down the mast and destroyed it. I am very happy with the performance of this antenna. I intitally set it up on a rotator 25 feet above ground and all of the local stations located 30 miles away came in 100%. I was even more surprised to be able to pick up a few of the San Francisco and San Jose TV stations - both analog and digital broadcasts. ...more

I thought it was just interference from power lines or ham radio signals. After trying filters and having no success, I decided to replace my rooftop antenna. The Terk TV38 seemed to have everything I needed. When I put it together, I was surprised by how big it was. It was well worth the time and effort to assemble and install it.
