With the speakers on the bottom its OK if the sound direction can get to you. MY BIG PROBLEM is that the cable connection is exactly in the middle of the back of the TV such that when mounting it under a cabinet with the 10"-24" Flip Mount from Premier Mounts, the mount is in the way of the cable connection. I cannot connect the cable while the TV is connected to the under cabinet mount. I don't know if this is a problem with other under cabinet ...more

Was very impressed with the ease of setup and the excellent video performance. His cable input is SD which tends to look a bit cartoon-ish on a set designed for HD, but after playing a bit with the video settings to suit his cable signal and room lighting, I was able to get excellent results. I've had it for a little over a month and it's changed the way I watch TV. The picture quality is amazing, the sound though is what surprised me. Even without a surround sound system, the television's own speakers provide astonishingly crystal clear sound. [2] Rating: 4 Date: 2007-10-18 Summary: Luck of the Draw ... I've had an older model of this tv for almost two years. It broke once in the first month, got it fixed for free from best buy. It's been working great since then. A lot of the reviews complain about misalignment or severe bowing around the corners. My tv doesn't do this at all, but I have seen some that have. My guess is that it's the luck of the draw--I got lucky. The only problem with the screen is best buy's fault.
